And when she comes across The Burlesque Lounge she thinks she may have found her new home. Starting as a waitress in the old theater owned and headlined by Tess (Cher) she falls in love with the costumes and choreography and she decides that one day she will be on that stage.
The cast in Burlesque is absolutely amazing with Aguilera and Cher as well as Stanley Tucci as the veteran stage manager, Julianne Hough as a feature dancer who befriends the small town girl and Kristen Bell as a dancer with a jealous streak.
The movie also features Alan Cumming as a gender-bending host and Eric Dane as an entrepreneur with an offer Ali may not be able to refuse.
Burlesque comes to theaters everywhere November 24, 2010.
